The Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF) is one of Asia's most reputable platforms for filmmakers, film professionals and filmgoers to launch new works and view fresh features.
On average, the festival screens over 250 titles from more than 50 countries in major cultural venues across town. As Hong Kong's largest cultural event, it reaches an audience of over 600,000, including 5,000 business executives who come to attend the Hong Kong Film and Television Market (FILMART).
With a focus on unearthing local new talent, the festival showcases the best of Hong Kong and Chinese cinema, as well as premiering world-class international works. There are also seminars hosted by leading filmmakers from around the globe, film exhibitions, celebration parties and more.
